Welcome to KinTime. This manual will guide you on how to make the most of this family time tracking tool that focuses on privacy and aesthetics.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Add a Family Member

  • Click the + button at the bottom right of the main screen.
  • Set Basic Info: Enter Name (e.g., Leo) and Relationship (e.g., Son).
  • Set Birth Date: Precisely select the birth year, month, day, hour, and minute.
  • Add an Avatar: Click the default avatar area and select a photo from your gallery to make your time card more vivid.
  • After saving, you will see a real-time jumping time card on the home page.

2. View Life Moments

  • Click a card to view more detailed statistics.
  • The app supports real-time display of the exact duration since birth in “years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds.”

🛠️ Settings & Advanced Features

1. Data Backup & Restore (Crucial)

To prevent data loss due to changing devices or uninstalling the app, please back up regularly.

  • Export Backup: Go to “Settings” -> Click “Export Backup.” The system will generate a .zip package containing all member data and avatar images. Please save this file to a safe location (e.g., cloud storage or external storage).
  • Restore Backup: Click “Restore Data” in the settings interface, select the backup zip you saved before, and all records and their associated avatars will be recovered instantly.

2. Pure Experience & Removing Ads

KinTime’s ad policy depends on how you acquired the app:

  • Paid Version Users: If you paid for the app at download, it will automatically be in “Ad-Free” mode, and you can enjoy the pure interface immediately.
  • Free Version Users: If you downloaded the app for free, it may display banner ads.
    • Permanent Removal: Go to “Settings” -> Click “Remove Ads.”
    • Confirm Purchase: Complete a one-time payment via the Google Play Billing system to permanently remove all ads.

3. Multi-Language Support

KinTime natively supports 17 major world languages (including English, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, etc.).

  • Go to “Settings” -> “Language” to switch anytime.

🔒 Privacy & Security

  • 100% Offline: KinTime adheres to an offline architecture. All your data (text and images) is stored locally on your phone and is never uploaded to the cloud, ensuring zero privacy risk.
  • Data Migration: The app does not provide cloud synchronization. If you need to move data to a new phone, please use the “Backup/Restore” function mentioned above for manual transfer.
