This Privacy Policy applies to the TrueCostAuto application (hereinafter referred to as “the App”).

A. User Generated Data (Local Storage)

All personal data, vehicle configurations, cost analysis reports, and other files you create or manage within the App are stored only on your local device. We do not access, collect, or transmit your core application data to any external servers or third parties.

B. Data Collected via Third-party Services

The App is designed to provide a professional and clean analytical environment. Its data interaction is limited to essential functional requirements:

  • No-Ad Environment: The App does not contain any third-party advertisements and does not integrate any ad-related SDKs.
  • In-App Purchases: To enable premium features (such as Standard or Pro upgrades), the App interacts with the Google Play Store or Apple App Store billing systems via APIs. We do not collect or store your financial information; the platform providers process transaction details (such as purchase tokens) to verify your authorization status.
  • Offline-First Design: The App’s core calculation engine runs entirely locally, allowing you to complete all TCO modeling and analysis without needing a real-time internet connection.

2. Data Security and User Control

  • Data Security: We follow industry-standard practices to ensure the security of the App. However, please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
  • User Control: Your data is entirely under your control. You can delete vehicle configurations or reset calculation parameters within the App at any time.
  • Backup Responsibility: Since most of your data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing up important information. The developer is not liable for data loss caused by device failure or accidental deletion.

3. Third-party Service Providers

The third-party services used by the App may include:

  • Google Play Services / Apple Store Services: Used for processing in-app purchase verification and maintaining essential underlying system services for the App.

We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these third-party providers to understand how they handle your authorization information.
