Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is the actual cost of owning and operating a vehicle over time. It goes far beyond the initial purchase price or monthly loan payment to include key expenses such as depreciation, fuel or charging, insurance, maintenance, repairs, taxes, registration, financing costs, and eventual resale value.

2. Why should I use TrueCostAuto instead of a simple loan calculator?

A loan calculator only tells you how much you pay each month to purchase the car. TrueCostAuto calculates how much the car will actually cost you to own and run.
